Barnardos www.barnardos.ie Barnardos supports children whose well-being is under threat, by working with them, their families and communities and by campaigning for the rights of children. In 2011 we worked with over 6,000 children and families, providing direct services, advice and support through more than 40 centres, based in some of the most over-looked communities in Ireland. More than ever, Barnardos is heavily reliant on the generosity and enterprising spirit of groups like the Great Limerick Run to help us generate funds. Every mile covered and cent raised will make a difference for the children and families that we work with. Through sponsorship raised by you; participants in the Great Limerick Run; you can change a child's life.
