This year CARI is one of the associated charities of The Great Limerick Run. On Sunday May 1st 2012 the streets of Limerick will fill once again with runners, joggers and walkers from far and wide. "I am appealing to you to support our work with Ireland's most vulnerable children and to come to our aid, which we need more than ever, by participating in The Great Limerick Run 2012 on our behalf to raise much needed funds for our vital services" says Anne Byrnes, Senior Development Executive.
CARI is a voluntary organisation that relies on the generosity of the public through events like this to finance our therapy services. Approximately 50% of our income comes in through appeals and events.
Child sexual abuse is one of the most traumatic things that can happen to a child and can be devastating to their future if they do not receive the help they need as soon as possible.
CARI assists and empowers children who have experienced sexual abuse to claim back their childhood, their happiness, their innocence and their bright and strong future.
